Old Mackinac ligthouse in Mackinaw City at moonrise.
Mackinac Point marks the junction of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Founded in 1889, the Old Mackinac Point Light Station was in operation from 1890 until 1957.

I got my first Czech-made 35mm Etareta film camera in early 60's from my father (who used it for at least another fifteen years before me) and have been photographing and developing prints ever since. The other passions are travelling and love of nature that go well with photography. Over the last ten years, I published a series of four panorama books covering Toronto and the "near North" region in Ontario, and my prints have been sold by number of local galleries. Many of my images are distributed also by several stock agencies. Thank you for finding this wonderful FAA site and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I am.
