About Les Palenik
I got my first Czech-made 35mm Etareta film camera in early 60's from my father (who used it for at least another fifteen years before me) and have been photographing and developing prints ever since. The other passions are travelling and love of nature that go well with photography. Over the last ten years, I published a series of four panorama books covering Toronto and the "near North" region in Ontario, and my prints have been sold by number of local galleries. Many of my images are distributed also by several stock agencies. Thank you for finding this wonderful FAA site and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I am. Note: If an image has the FAA watermark in the lower right hand corner it will NOT appear on any print you purchase....

Thank you very much Claire. I think, I'd rather jump into that calm water and swim with the loons, but sitting and reading would be great, too. Sometimes, the simple objects produce great images.

I love this, Les - I could sit there all afternoon with a couple of soft cushions and my tea, reading and the Loons could be nearby and the turtles popping up their little heads... oh this is wonderful and worn and cozy - I would love to try to paint this !! Faved
